Lagos City Polytechnic was the First Private Polytechnic in Nigeria. The National Board for Technical Education has granted accreditation. Affiliation with Southwestern University in Nigeria.

As we face the new millennium’s challenges, I am looking forward to a bright future for Lagos City Polytechnic. We have a new vision of the Polytechnic to meet these challenges: Lagos City Polytechnic will be a nationally recognized institution that is intellectually active, accessible, communicative, technologically sophisticated, and responsive to the educational requirements of a diverse population.
